Small in size. Never small in feeling. For couples choosing fewer guests, fewer hours, and more presence
— intimate elopement and mini wedding photography across Auckland and New Zealand.
Elopment
A ceremony with no guest list at all — or perhaps a celebrant and one or two witnesses. Often a sunrise on a black sand beach, a forest clearing, a quiet clifftop. The day is shaped entirely around you both, with time to wander, breathe, and actually be present in it.
Mini Wedding
A ceremony and celebration with up to around 30 guests — immediate family, your nearest friends. All the warmth of a wedding day: vows, speeches, a shared meal, dancing — without the scale, the year of planning, or the expense of a full celebration.
Most people picture a wedding photographer hovering, directing, asking you to walk back and do it again “more naturally.” That’s not how this works.
I follow you. Whether it’s just the two of you on a windswept beach at sunrise, or a small group of your closest people in someone’s backyard, my job is to stay quietly out of the way — not to choreograph the day, but to document it as it actually happens.
That’s the real version of your day. And those are the photos you’ll still love in twenty years — not the posed ones, but the ones that feel like a memory.
Some couples dream of a hundred guests and a dance floor that doesn’t empty until midnight. Others dream of something quieter — a handful of people who matter most, a celebrant, the sound of waves or wind instead of a wedding band. Neither is smaller. They’re just different shapes of the same thing: two people choosing each other, on a day built entirely around what feels true to them. Whether it’s a sunrise elopement on a black sand beach or an intimate backyard celebration with your closest family and friends, the goal is the same — to step back, let the day unfold naturally, and capture it exactly as it happens. No rushed timelines, no performing for a guest list, no moment lost to logistics. Just the two of you, fully present, and a photographer quietly there to make sure none of it is forgotten.

A content creator captures candid, behind-the-scenes moments on a phone or compact camera throughout your day — things your photographer might not be focused on in the moment. Think getting-ready chaos, in-between laughs, and detail shots, all designed to look great as Instagram Reels or TikToks.
A videographer creates a cinematic, edited highlight film of your day. A content creator captures quick, lo-fi, short-form clips — raw and real, not polished — and delivers them fast so you can share straight to social media. They work alongside each other rather than replacing one another.
Content delivery is within 48 hours, so you'll have shareable moments from your day before the excitement has worn off — well ahead of your full edited gallery.
Yes. Both the Elopement and Mini Wedding collections offer a Photography + Content Creator option, so you can add this on regardless of which size day you're planning.
They serve different purposes, so it depends what you want. A content creator gives you fast, casual social content. If you also want a beautifully edited cinematic film of your ceremony and speeches, that's a separate videography add-on — get in touch and we can talk through what fits your day.
